I’ve been very full of creative energy and new ideas for projects lately, but just not enough time to get them all done. Â It’s a little frustration, but a nice change of atmosphere. Â Because a few months ago I had a serious drive to make things, but just ran out of ideas or inspiration.
But it’s all been flooding back into me. Â It’s about damn time.
I’ve also been thinking about relationships and the connections that bring us together.
For example, let’s take two very dear people to me, Doniree and Alex. Â Doniree just happens to be family and has been stuck with me for literally her.whole.life. Â (sorry, D). Â And Alex is basically family, being my VBFF and all. Â And not too long ago (I think it was actually at my wedding) they met and I think they realized they had a ton in common. Â And they do. Â And now, through the miracles of social networking, they’ve been able to foster that friendship even more.
Without blogs and twitter, that might have never been possible.

Awww… I LOVE this. And you’re right – thank goodness for social networking because she’d have always been “your cool friend who rocks awesome hair and perfect makeup” but her interaction with my yoga classes and constant cheerleader-like support during that… well, that’s just awesome. I can see why you two are so close and I’m SO EXCITED for us to all hang out in just a few weeks. WHICH OMG REMINDS ME, I need to call Grama and you know, ASK/TELL her that I plan to come down, ha.
Ok, now I’m just blushing.
But I totally agree that I have met some AWESOME people via social networking. Some of whom live really close and I’m going to visit them over the summer! So cool!
And as for being able to foster a real friendship with you, Doniree, well, that has been great! We have so much in common, it’s almost a teeny bit freaky. LOL.
And regarding creativity… you have always been a very creative person, whether it be with your writing or now with knitting, as two examples, so I love that you’re finding new inspiration!
And yes, cannot wait to hang with you fabulous women!
