Ten on Tuesday

Thanks again to Roots and Rings for Ten on Tuesday!

1. What do you order at Starbucks?

After working there for about 4.5 years, I will order any multitude of different drinks.  Chai lattes, breve lattes, delicious cappuccino, mochas, regular coffee, iced tea…. My favorite in the winter, though, is a Gingerbread Latte.  In the summer, it’s a vanilla iced coffee.  Yum. It varies on my mood, though.

2. Where is your favorite place to eat breakfast?

When we’re in Atlanta, it’s this little place called The Flying Biscuit.  There’s always a wait, but it’s REALLY good.  Delicious.  In town, unfortunately, the only place I have tried for breakfast is Cracker Barrel.  I love me some Cracker Barrel, though.  MMmmm pancakes.

3. Are you on Twitter? Why or why not?

I am on twitter.  It was originally to keep up with a couple of friends.  Then it sort of grew into this other way to connect with people on the internet, and I really like it.

4. What is your favorite Christmas movie?

Home Alone. Then Love Actually.  Then Rudolf.  Then The Family Stone.  Then Elf.

5. Are you a good gift giver?

I try to be.  I like to think of good gifts for people, or at least if I can’t do that, figure it out what it is that they would actually want!

6. Do you like your handwriting? Bonus points for posting a picture.

I’m ok with my handwriting.

7. Is your signature legible? Bonus points for posting a picture.

My married signature was once legible.  Then it sort of morphed into something ridiculous.  No.  It is not legible.

8. Have you ever been to New York during Christmas season?

Yes.  I have been to New York on Black Friday. It was pretty neat.

9. Are there any items that you are completely brand loyal?

I’m sort of an Apple fangirl.  I can’t help it.  My shit just works when I plug it in.  When it breaks, Apple fixes it.  In the many years I’ve used Apple products, I’ve only needed something fixed once. I’m really not loyal to any other brands.  I’m a repeat buyer of my favorite things, but am not against others.

10. Who is your favorite public speaker?

Sad, but I don’t have one.  Unless you count my favorite college professor.  If that counts, then Dr. Gerberding.

For breakfast in town: Give Another Broken Egg a try. I love it there. It’s a little pricey, but it’s nice every now and then. 🙂
