- Kat Von D Tattoo Liner – I’ve used a million different eyeliners. I really do love a good gel eyeliner, but the new trend for eyeliner pens just makes my mornings so much easier. I prefer the formula of the Stila 24/7 liner to this one, but the KVD makes a little wing SO easy. It lasts until I take it off, too.
- Tarte Amazonian Clay Powder Foundation – I’ve been using this daily in an effort to keep my makeup routine short. It holds up all day, looks better as the day goes on (it’s weird, but I swear it does), super easy to apply because of the packages neat little mesh dispenser. I used medium neutral in the summer, and my color now is fair-light neutral. And, it doesn’t cling to dry or flaky patches.
- Mac ProLongwear concealer. I have this in two shades NC 20 and NW15. Right now, NW15 is my forever most loved undereye concealer. It’s slightly drying, so you have to use a good undereye cream or moisturizer, but it stays all day, combats the circles, non-irritating. NW15 is slightly too light for my regular face blemishes, so that’s why I have NW20. (Quick note: NC colors have a yellow undertone, NW have a pink undertone. I use the pink under my eyes to brighten the area, but my skintone is more on the yellow side.) My only problem with this product is that the pump is like all or none – I have a seriously difficult time trying to get out the right amount of product. My solution has been to pump some into a small sample container and use from there.
- Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette. I don’t LOVE every color in this palette, but it’s seriously versatile. I love all the cranberry colors on my skin tone. They don’t look like bruises or make me look sick like some reddy undertoned shadows. They all blend really well, and it’s a great easy way to polished eyeshadow look.
- Sigma E38 eyeshadow blending brush and the It Cosmetics Airbrush Blending brush. Both of these seriously changed my eyeshadow game this year. The sigma is slightly thinner, easier for crease blending. The It one is good for a general crease or transition color. I recommend both.
- Two blush favorites – both from MAC. I’ve bought Tarte blushes and while they last a long time, and have good colors, I feel like they’re hard to blend. MAC blushes are never hard to blend. Well Rested in a light medium pink that leans a little cool. It’s a great natural looking color to just slap on. Springsheen is a perfect lovely coral color with just enough of a shimmer to be glowy.
- Stila Kitten Eyeshadow is a favorite for close to 10 years. One pan lasts forever, and I use this at least once a week as an all-over the lid color. I had forgotten about it for a bit, but we’ve rekindled things.
- Benefit They’re Real Mascara. This is HG status. It’s a bitch to remove, but I love it anyway. Gives good volume, and the brush is the best.
- Clinique Whole Lotta Honey. I resisted this for a long time. (Sorry Lisa!) It is the perfect MLBB lip color, and supposedly is universal. I thought it would be too brown, but no. It’s perfect.
- Revlon lip butter in Sugar Plum. I looked for a long time for a nice fall/winter lip color and wouldn’t you know, it was a $6 revlon lip butter.

I really want the plum color Kat Von D liner, and I keep forgetting when I’m near a Sephora. Must. Not. Forget.
I used to always get drugstore blushes, and then I bit the bullet and got a Nars one and I can never go back – it’s wonderful.
