Thank you, Alex, for this excellent idea for a post!
Our kid
The baby has grown from the size of a grape to the size of a peach this month. Chris and I heard the heartbeat earlier this month, and we’re past the first trimester now. I really can’t describe the relief I feel now.
A few friends have thrown their guesses in as to if the baby is a boy or a girl, but I have absolutely no clue. We’ll be finding out sometime in April!
We finally told all of the family and our friends about the pregnancy. Holding it even, even from my parents for 10 weeks, was so very difficult.
The blog!
I moved my blog from here to its new home! If anyone is interested, the husband blogs at dimwell.net, so mrs.dimwell.net just felt right.
My blog title, though, can be read about here.
Superficial product of the month
My favorite makeup product is eyeshadow, by far. But I didn’t buy any eyeshadow this month. I think I finally have an eyeshadow of every color that I want, minus a few trendy brights.
My skin has been crazy dry. It’s apparently a pregnancy symptom. And a symptom of the cold, dry weather, and the stupid heater. My favorite lotion this winter has been Vaseline’s Cocoa Butter Gel. It is a little on the greasy side, but it stays with me all day. The other life saver has been Bath and Body Works’ Pure Shea Butter.
Tech Gadget of the month
I bought a Barnes and Noble Nook this month. I’m excited about having many different books in hand whenever I want them. I’m excited about not needing many paper copies of books that I don’t need. And I’m excited about all of the very cheap and free books offered from B&N and Google Books.
Unfortunately I don’t have much else to update on this month, mostly because I slept or felt quite ill through most of it.

I love that your baby is a peach! That’s beautiful!
I got J a Nook for his birthday and he LOVES it. I can’t get over how easy it is to read on! He tends to leave it at home while he’s at work. I think he’s going to be interested to find a lot of women’s fiction on it.
